Georgia began her career studying audio engineering and working at one of San Diego’s premier recording studios. She later studied piano performance and music composition before earning her bachelor’s degree from the Biola Conservatory of Music. While living in California, she performed throughout San Diego and served as Program Manager for the Del Mar International Composers Symposium. Her compositions and arrangements have been performed across San Diego, Los Angeles and throughout the United States. She has also worked with opera singer Tasha Koontz and cellist Shannon Lee Hayden, including helping develop new approaches to cello notation. One of her favorite creative projects is writing music for herself and her husband to perform together on piano and bass trombone. She recently moved to Texas to continue graduate school and be closer to family. Outside of music, she loves reading and spending time outdoors.
