Felix Cruz

Felix is a multi-instrumentalist and private music lesson instructor at Music on Magnolia in San Antonio, Texas. Originally from Edinburg, he has been active in the local music scene as both a performer and educator. He frequently serves as a clinician for high school bands on both a local and national level and is currently on staff with the Phantom Regiment Drum and Bugle Corps. Felix has also worked as a clinician with the Santa Clara Vanguard and the Academy Drum and Bugle Corps, and he marched with the 19-time world champion Blue Devils Drum Corps between 2012 and 2014, serving as a soloist and winning the brass performer of the year award in 2014. As a jazz trumpeter, he has had the opportunity to share the stage with notable musicians such as Wycliff Gordon, Jeff Watts, Eric Marienthal, and Gordon Goodwin.
